Geothermics

  • Licensing-related and technical assessment of the planned project
  • Drawing up of general feasibility studies
  • Drawing up of cost estimates based on current market prices, preliminary planning and dimensioning (geothermal response test, GRT)
  • Support/supervision of the whole licensing process
  • Drawing up of bidding documents that are ready to sign
  • Execution of the numeric dimensioning calculation (EED)
  • Optimisation of the number and arrangement of probes, drawing up of the bidding documents (texts for the bill of quantities, etc.)
  • Monitoring of the official requirements during the manufacturing of the geothermal energy exchangers – computer-assisted dimensioning of a geothermal well system

Geothermics

As a sustainable and permanently available source of energy, near-surface geothermics makes the economically efficient and environmentally friendly temperature control of structures possible (reduction of CO2). This involves extracting energy (heat) from the building site in winter and providing it to the structure. In summer, the building site is colder as compared to the exterior temperature and can be used for cooling the structure.

Baugrundinstitut Franke-Meißner und Partner GmbH has been active in the field of near-surface geothermics since 2004. We supervise projects whose aim is to use geothermal energy directly, e.g. via a geothermal well system, and projects that aim to use geothermal energy indirectly, e.g. with geothermal energy exchanger or collector systems.
