Building demolition and building rehabilitation

The question of possible contamination of the building substance caused by use-related pollution (e.g. due to oils or lubricants) or of contaminated building substances such as insulation or joining materials (with PCB or PAH) or building materials containing asbestos generally arises when planning and implementing demolition measures. Having knowledge of the contamination means that the building owner has greater project and cost certainty throughout the entire construction activity. Project delays and additional costs can also be prevented this way.

Prior to tearing down a structure, our team will perform appropriate sampling and appraisal measures on the buildings and use them as a basis for drawing up a building pollutant registry and, if required, a teardown and disposal concept.

In addition to drawing up contract award documents, we also consult the building owners with regard to the selection of potential bidders. We also take on technical construction management and construction supervision for controlled building demolition, including the removal of any pollutants.
